Caption: Bausch & Lomb has unveiled its plans for a new world headquarters building in downtown Rochester, New York. Fox & Fowle Architects of New York City, in association with the Rochester architectural firm of Handler/Grosso has designed a 20-story high, 465,000 square-foot corporate headquarters building, to be located on a two-acre site facing Fredrick Law Olmstead's Washington Square Park. An already impressive corporate art collection will be augmented as part of the project and incorporated into the design. It is Bausch and Lomb's goal to demonstrate its commitment and dedication to the Rochester Community by erecting a building that is appropriate and enriching to the culture of the city and one that will endure the test of time.
